So Sorry / MOJO390

Greetings,

Thought I'd try my hand at another MOJO Monday sketch!   Here's the sketch:
This is my take on it:
Except for the stitched dies, which are from My Favorite Things, all the products I used are from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for clicking by, enjoy your creative day!

Everything Will be OK

Love this saying!  Sometimes we get so caught up in life's little crisis that we over react and lose focus.  It helps to remember the big picture.
The stitched banner die is from My Favorite Things, and everything else is from Stampin' Up!

I hope you get some time today to do some creating.  Thanks for visiting!

Denise

I Can't Wait to See You

When I saw this stamp set from My Favorite Things, I had to get it.  So. Stinken'. Cute!!  And I can really use it, too, since both my daughters are living in different countries.
The airplane, banner, puppy and tulip dies are from Impression Obsession, the tree and grass dies are from Elizabeth Crafts, and the cherry blossom punch and papers are from Stampin' Up!  I also colored the tulips and girl in window image with Stampin' Up!'s Blendabilities markers, which, sniff, are no longer available (at least for now!).
Thanks for clicking by!  Hope you find some time to create today!

Pink and Blue Joy / 52CCT11-15

OK, so I'm getting into these challenges from 52 Christmas Card Throwdown!  This one really made me stretch my idea of what a Christmas card is because it was a color challenge, using only pastel blue, pastel pink and silver!  Here's what I came up with:
All products used are from Stampin' Up!, except the light blue card stock, which is from My Favorite Things.

Hope you're inspired to create something a little different today!

Thanks for clicking by,
Denise

Make Today Ridiculously Amazing

I love that message!  It reminds me that for the most part, what I do with my day and how I do it is entirely up to me, and my attitude.  I made one of each of these for my girls, who are both living in different countries.  My way of uplifting them while they're over there and I'm over here!
This card was made entirely with Stampin' Up! products.

Here's to your ridiculously amazing day!

Denise

Official Friend Request / MOJO388

Greetings!  Don't you love it when there are stamps available that reflect today's current pop culture?  I do!  I think it's really fun.  So I was happy to use this cute "official friend request" stamp from My Favorite Things in a MOJO Monday sketch!  The rest of the card was made with Stampin' Up! products.  Here's the sketch:

Croppin' Queens

You may or may not know that I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, though I don't sell the products -- I'm what they call a "hobby" demonstrator, in that I am my biggest (and for the most part, only) customer!  But I am part of an awesome group of women who all have at least two things in common:  we love to stamp with Stampin' Up! products, and Jeannette Swain is our upline.  I've known Jeannette for a number of years and she is an incredible woman.  At our last meeting, she prepared four make-n-takes for us to do:

Those are all lovely, but here is my favorite (and also the easiest!):
Here is the inside to the Etch-a-Sketch card:
If you're interested in learning how to do these cards or becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, get in touch with Jeannette.  I'm sure you'll love her!!

Gee, thanks! / CMCC#61

So, I've found another blog with fun creative challenges!  This one is called Colour Me! and their challenge this week is to use just one color, Tangelo Twist (from Stampin' Up!) though neutrals are permitted.  It can be challenging to use just one color, but the results can be pretty and easy on the eyes.  What do you think?
I used the following Stampin' Up! products for this card:
Stamps:  Sheltering Tree, Really Good Greetings
Card stock:  Whisper White, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Tangelo Twist
Inks:  Tangelo Twist, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede
Embellishment:  Tangelo Twist sequins (leftover from a Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin kit!)

Thanks for clicking by...set aside some time to do some creating today!!

Sprinkled with Love / MOJO 387

SNOW DAY TODAY!!  YAY!!!  It's beautiful!  Everything is closed so I was able to stay home and "work" on this post. :)

I'm sharing with you my first entry into a MOJO Monday contest.  In case you aren't familiar with MOJO Monday, they have great card sketches every Monday.  Lots and lots of card makers play along with them.  I've used several of their sketches in designing my cards.  They're a great resource, even if you don't play along.  I really like this particular sketch, so I thought I'd finally try my luck.  Here's what I came up with:
Yes, I did glue each sprinkle on one at a time!!  Time consuming, but too cute not to!

I used a combination of products from Stampin' Up! and My Favorite Things for this card:

Papers, inks, starburst die cut, twine and ribbon:  Stampin' Up!
Stamps, button and background and donut die cuts:  My Favorite Things

Thanks for clicking by, and see you next time!

Donut Forget I Love You

Who doesn't like donuts?!  My Favorite Things recently released the most fun stamp set called Donuts and Sprinkles, which has a coordinating die set.  I couldn't wait to start playing with them!  BTW, the papers, ribbon and dots stamp are from Stampin' Up!  Here's my first donut card...more to come! :)
Thanks for clicking by...squeeze in some time to create today!
